As I search for a fresh start, a friend convinces me to move to his small town. Considering I don’t have a place to live, his little sister offers me her spare room.
She’s every man’s dream—witty, down to earth, and gorgeous as hell—too bad she’s off-limits. Unspoken words and stolen glances have me eager to please her in all the forbidden ways. My broken past makes it hard to open up, however, she inspires me to face my demons and be the man she deserves.
I shouldn’t fantasize about my roommate, but it’s impossible when Everleigh’s sleeping next to me—her lips whispering my name.
FORCING YOU AWAY is book 1 in the Archer & Everleigh duet and must be read first.
Archer and Everleigh’s story starts out sooo good. Every time I had to put my kindle down, I could not wait to get back to it. Archer is swoon worthy and Everleigh is definitely her own person. Loved reading this book and can’t wait for the conclusion to their story. A must read!
I voluntarily reviewed an arc of this book.
Everleigh is the loud, fun-loving, blunt, never settling down sister of Tyler. When he was in prison, he met Archer and they became best friends. Now that Archer has been released, Tyler wants to help Archer get a fresh start on life- new job, new town, new home. That home just happens to be with his very attractive, very off limits sister Everleigh. Wanting to stay loyal to his friend and not involve her in his mess, Archer fights his feelings but how long can he hold out on Everleigh’s advances?
This was awful. Zero depth in the writing and characters, but they sure do take the dog out to pee a lot and take a quick shower. Oh and clean the kitchen. There could have been a great story here but the writing is so juvenile.
