The best 40K story you could read. It speaks to the soul. I didn’t know I could empathize with the god Emperor’s son’s children. Thus this book makes it possible. No pity, no remorse, no fear!!
For the Templars
Any Black Templar player of 40k should read this book. Read and be inspired to build an army worthy of the Black templars and the Hero of Helsreach.
Masterpiece.
This is the first 40k novel I’ve finished. It’s a surprisingly beautiful story, given the setting, of overcoming impossible odds and the sacrifices made along the way. I love the moments of humanity that peek through the Templars’ otherwise callous demeanor.
