Keeping your interest
A paranormal romance that keeps your interest until the last page. I recommend this book.
“ it had been a year since [she] had been to grizzly ridge for the first time”
What the heck sense does that make? It had been a year since she had been there first? It just sounds bad.
The very first sentence of the book makes me want to vomit.
All I ask of authors and their supposed editors is a modicum of grammatical awareness.
How about instead:
It had been a year since her first visit, and
Last year being her first visit,
In the year since her first visit,
After her first visit, last year,
Top of your TBR list
First let me say, paranormal books are not my first choice. Nina and Ryker are one of my favorites so far. This is an easy read, there is much tribulation and angst along with the steam (of which there is plenty). This stand-alone is full of everything a romance junky craves. Put it at the top of your TBR list.
