This was such a sweet and romantic story.
Caitrin “Cait” Beckett is in London for her sisters wedding and though she loves her sister she longs to be back home in Bermuda. When she left for London she promised a friend she’s look up his sister who he’s not heard from for a while.
Daniel Westham while out for the evening with his friend meets Caitrin when she literally drops from a tree in front of him. Intrigued by the beautiful hoydon he must get to know her. Needing to find out more about Cait, Daniel seeks her out and she persuades him to help her find her friend. The last thing he wants is for her to fall from anymore trees.
Not looking for a future Daniel and Cait spend more and more time with each other and begin to depend on the other. Daniel sees Cait as a strong, smart and loving woman not the fragile one her family says she is. Daniel may be a rogue but he is Cait’s night in shining armor and she will not believe he is bad for her reputation. With the secret help from aunts and a little give and take, Daniel and Cait just might realize their future can be more then they dreamed of.

The series continues and the three Beckett sisters who lived in Bermuda are all now in London. Cait and her sister Corinna have arrived to attend their eldest sister's wedding. Cait had promised a friend back on the island that she would check on his sister and her good friend while there. That should be simple, right? Well definately not when she ends up meeting Lord Daniel Westham as she is climbing out a window, a window in a brothel no less! Daniel was a great hero with his soft heart and he is definately intrigued by Cait who is so outspoken. Daniel agrees to help her find her missing friend but seems to end up rescuing her from many places! You will find yourself laughing out loud at some of their antics.
This is a novella that can be read quickly but you will enjoy the adventure and attraction as it builds between these delightful characters. I read this through NetGallery.
