A fun book.
The passion of hearing
Our blind heroine (is soon-to-be-a-Duchess -!! ) who must unravel the mysteries of said and unsaid around her.
We are stretched into her/our fingertips thru a thousand immediate sensations and extraordinary insights.
Her Duke of stone, listens as acutely- and struggles to even want to speak.
The mending of differences between them occurs within a volatile political landscape.
The story is poignant, passionate, frightful, and most often - -unexpected - therefore completely engaging to read.
A Brigeton story
Brigeton is about siblings finding love.. this is her and later issues, of friends finding love.
I cannot complain. I do love period dramas with love story twists. If u love a Brigeton story, then most definitely will enjoy this as well.
