The Perfect YA Fiction Novel!
Ignite has a great balance of romance, drama, and action. I also love the new concept of conduits that this novel creates. Kaitlyn must be very creative to come up with such a new twist on the vampire story. I expect great things from this author.
And what a quick read! I read it in only two sittings because I had such a hard time putting it down. (I had to force myself to put it down to get some sleep!)
I cannot wait to find out what happens in the sequels! Hurry up and finish Simmer, I WANT MORE!!
Vampire Romance at it's Best!!
I ABSOLUTELY LOVED LOVED LOVED THIS BOOK!!!!!! What a perfect start to what I'm sure will be an AMAZING series!!!
Ignite was so well written that I am surprised to learn it is the author's first book. Kaitlyn does an absolutely beautiful job of telling the story, providing detail on the characters, and making the reader enthralled with the love triangle between Kira, Tristan, and Luke. I loved that I was intrigued by both guys and kept changing my mind as it made me that much more invested in the story -- however, I have decided to be on Team Tristan! I love him -- those eyes who wouldn't?!
I also love the level of narration and detail provided to the story. I was really able to paint a picture in my mind of the setting, the characters, and the surroundings! Having been to Charleston a ton as a child, Kaitlyn's portrayal of the city only made me want to return sooner rather than later!
I am a big lover of YA paranormal romances, and I was very happily surprised by the new twist on vampire romance that Kaitlyn introduced. The conduits are so incredibly creative and I LOVED learning about their way of life! Kaitlyn's creativity was also shown through the many unexpected turns of the novel which made the book so incredibly exciting and such a quick page turner! I think I read the entire book in just a handful of sittings as I couldn't wait to find out what happens!! That's especially true of the ending, I am going to start the next book Simmer now as I am dying to know what happens!!
Overall an EXCELLENT job by Kaitlyn and an EXCELLENT book! I am a fan of her work and am exited to read Simmer now to find out what happens to Kira! More than a 5 star job!!
Good book
For a free book it was really good. It is a lot like twilight but still better (I HATE twilight) it was good and I say read it.
