Synopsis
Politics, phallic statues, and pretty women.
Literally everywhere you look, you see an old man and a gold-digging, cling-on wrapped around their wrinkly arms.
Looks as though my hot streak ended when Warren Shipley, one of the nation’s wealthiest men, hired me to play arm-candy to save face with the other one percenters he did business with. At least that’s what I thought when I arrived in Washington, DC, until I was met by old man Shipley’s debonair and insanely handsome son. The Senator from California, Aaron Shipley. Youngest senator in the history of politics, single, beyond rich, and the face of every political magazine around the US. Women everywhere wanted a taste of that power.
Me, I’d always thought politics were boring…boy was I wrong. Democracy had never been more exciting.

January, February, March, April, and May
I have enjoyed them all. I cannot put them down. Presently I will start June. I am addicted. Each one is fascinating and I understand this woman’s need to reach her goal despite all her sacrifices. She is determined to help her family and friends putting herself last. Thank you for this series. Looking forward to each month in this series. Mary
May is June
Has anyone figured out how to read the June book?!
The Plot Thickens...
You know how you get to the middle of a book and things start clicking? Then you start trying to figure out how the story will all pull together juuuuuust right? Yeah, that's where I am with this series. Like Audrey's done throughout this series, she's surprised me again with this installment. What I thought would happen didn't, and it left me primed to see what other twists and turns she'd got in store for Mia. The best part at this point in the series is how she has characters returning. Nothing better than getting to touch on characters you've come to know and love.
Off to July...
