Spicy but Sweet Monster Romance
Of all the Blackthorn Academy books I’ve read so far, this is the sweetest one. I’m a sucker for sweet guys and, if you’ve read #4 of the Blackthorn series, Monster’s Enemy, you’ll know that Thurston is as sweet as they come.
In Monster’s Mayhem, #10 in the series, someone is stalking Thurst. He does his best to avoid them but the attraction between them is strong. As a Merman, he knows he and Maxine aren’t fated mates, as she’s a witch but he wants her anyway. Staying away from her is the only way to keep him from acting on his desire.
With a little meddling from their best friends, Braz and Ellie from book #4, all of Thurst’s determination is wasted. He can’t fight it anymore and the rest of the story is full of lust, love, and surprises.
Terrific series that shares a unique, supernatural world but is written by a variety of wonderful authors. Each book features a different paranormal couple. Witches, demons, gargoyles, fae, vampires, water creatures, werewolves, succubi, you name it, they’re probably in one. Spicy, suspenseful, romantic, fun, if you haven’t read one, you should.
