Outstanding series,a different location and a different partner.. The case is to stop a killer. Always enjoy her books. Given arc for my voluntary review
Kind of a fantasy.
This story takes place along the Mississippi River just upstream of New Orleans where, apparently, there are many ‘harbors’ seeing many recreational boaters.
I don’t think the author has been to the area as there are no harbors and very little recreational boating just upstream of NO. What there are are hundreds of barges, refineries, and other big business. The river is populated with commercial boats mostly pushing barges and closer to NO ocean going ships.
Her stories portray real life much like the comic books of long ago.
Repetition
Too much repetition thru out series.
