Fun and exciting
Adam was a fireman. He had walked in on his girlfriend with another guy things happened and he kicked her out. He now only did one night hook ups he found on line. Beth was a hairdresser. Her ex told her she was useless and not worth anything. So she was meeting Adam from an online site for a hook up. Something she had never done. Only this one night stand got to Adam and he couldn’t get her out of his mind. One hook up turned to two then... Fun and exciting adventure

Great characters!
This is book 5 in the Firehouse Fourteen series and it features Adam and Beth. These two met at a hook-up chat room. She’s trying to prove that she’s much more than her demeaning ex-boyfriend says. Adam doesn’t believe he deserves anything more than meaningless sex. That is until he meets Beth and all his normal rules quickly fly out the window.
I love the cast of characters and the story line was great but failed to find the romance between the two main characters. I definitely think there was a lack of any type of connection between these two, at least until the end.
