All the emotions, the connections and the love
I really enjoyed Shane and Bellamy’s opposites attract, adversaries to lovers, forced proximity romance with a side of secrets. This is a heartwarming, funny and steamy romance between lovable and relatable characters with just a touch of angst. Shane is a mechanic in small town Pine Mountain. Bellamy is a financial analyst from the city. After her boyfriend breaks up with her and her boss is her usual heinous self, she plans a weekend getaway with her two friends to Pine Mountain. On the way, her car breaks down and Shane is the mechanic who is tasked with fixing it. There is instant chemistry and attraction between them but there is also lots of circumstances and baggage holding each of them back. Until a snowstorm strands them together allowing the physical and emotional connections to nudge them harder toward their HEA. To get there they will each need deal with their pasts as they are continuing to negatively impact their lives. The story included all the goodness - sweet moments, steamy scenes, chuckles, supportive friends, messy families, painful pasts, secrets, surprises, and all the heart squeezing love. I am looking forward to reading the next book in the series.

Shane Griffin and Bellamy Blake are seemingly opposites. He’s a small-town mechanic who gets the call when her convertible breaks down on her and her friends’ girls’ weekend. Bellamy’s just gotten publicly cut loose, and her monster of a boss is taking her game next level. She’s not expecting anything except some restorative girl time but instead ends up needing a tow from a hot, annoying guy who works in a garage.
Shane and Bellamy actually have more in common than sparks galore, and it’s a real treat to see how Kimberly Kincaid brings them and her readers to this recognition. Plenty of humor, heat, and heartfelt times between them and those who love them make this a fantastic read. Eagerly awaiting the others in the series.
