She dared me to take her on, and that’s exactly what I plan to do
I'm no stranger to daring things
However, there are a few stunts even I'm smart enough not to try
Jaylyn Rigsby is one of them
But when the raven-haired beauty
The insurance company sent to oversee my stunts
Dared me to take her on, well, now..
Challenge accepted ~ Steele
My next assignment has a reputation of cutting through the red tape to get what he wants
But I'm good at my job
Steele Kane isn't going to get whatever he wants
Even, if one of the things he wants is me
Case closed ~ Jaylyn
Will Jaylyn be the first to tame this overbearing stuntman, or will Steele hold out and get what he wants?
This story was good, but not as good as the first book in the series. Overall it was a good story with some excitement and burn. However, there were several times I found myself skimming over the pages to get to the next part. I would give book three a try tho, as I really enjoyed the first book in the series.
Wow, Steele is awesome!
This is my first book by this author and I can’t wait to read more. Steele, is a cocky, arrogant, not afraid of anything stuntman and he’s got his eye on Jaylyn, the representative from the insurance company that signs off on the dangerous stunts. Both have some heavy baggage and not looking for love, but it sneaks up and smacks them both on their heads. Loved the storyline and the characters. There’s undeniable chemistry, humor, and heartbreaking emotions. I loved it and look forward to all the Kane brothers’ stories.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Loved this story.
I can only imagine what it was like for Stone and Steele concerning what they went through with their birth mother. I can only imagine the nightmare that their father must of felt.
Steele was pure sex on legs. He was a stunt man but did not have plan falling for any woman. It is pretty sad knowing that he kept his heart so guarded but I guess this is what made him perfect for Jay.
My heart broke as piece by piece Jay’s story came out. She suffered so much pain more then you can possible know. Not only did she live with pain of loss but she lived with guilt. To hold up as well as she did showed what a strong woman she truly was. I admire that in her.
I loved the chemistry between Steele and Jay. I loved that these two needed each other more then either one of them even known.
I loved the closeness of the brothers. I think their closeness is what makes this story so great. They are protective of each other and will go to bat for each other.
This was a great story and glad I got a chance to read the book. So can not wait for the next book.
