Bad Place
I'm pretty sure I read this book about eight yrs. ago. It has a evil psycho spawn of a hermaphrodite who torments this kid with DS. And if I remember correctly, transporting from this so called "bad place" involved sparkly dust clouds. My first Koontz, I liked it, you should read it!!

Great story…not what you think. I’ve read just about every one of the authors work and that’s about 30 or more and The Bad Place is in the top 5 books. Also read the Frankenstein series, Christopher Snow duology and of course the Odd Thomas collection. Love ❤️ Dean Koontz!
