Bad Place

I'm pretty sure I read this book about eight yrs. ago. It has a evil psycho spawn of a hermaphrodite who torments this kid with DS. And if I remember correctly, transporting from this so called "bad place" involved sparkly dust clouds. My first Koontz, I liked it, you should read it!!

This book is just awesome: my favorite of all time. This book grips your attention from the very start. It kept me on the edge of my seat the entire way through. I love this super strange and mind bending story.

This book is not bad... it’s great!

I love reading books by lots of different authors, but Dean Koontz is always my “go to” guy when I’m looking for a really scary mystery, suspense novel, or horror novel. I always have been, and always will be, a huge fan of the author, ever since I read Watchers, the first book I ever read by Koontz. The Bad Place is another prime example of why I love the author! For those looking for a truly terrifying mystery, horror story, or suspense story, you definitely get all of these in one book! But what makes it a terrific book is that you also get much more! Compelling, sympathetic characters, warmth, a bit of romance, laugh-out-loud humor, and, of course, the kind of likable protagonists who remind us of the importance of being the best, and kindest, people we can be. All of these ingredients usually make a book by Koontz irresistible to me! This book even has another ingredient that Koontz fans love in some of his books: science fiction. If you’re looking for an amazing hybrid of horror, suspense, and science fiction, you’ll be thrilled with this book!
