Publisher Description
The #1 New York Times bestselling series is hotter than ever, and this thrilling conclusion to the Lost Continent Prophecy arc is a must-read!
With talons united . . .
Luna has always wanted to change the world -- to fix it, to free it -- even if she’s never actually known how. Now that all of dragon - and humankind are in mortal danger, Luna is flying back home to Pantala with a team of dragons on a rescue mission, determined to be brave and useful.
But saving a continent isn’t as easy as a prophecy makes it sound, and “facing a great evil” definitely requires more than the fiery silk that Luna is uniquely able to create. As she fights her way to the abyss that hides the dark roots poisoning Pantala, Luna must uncover a long-buried secret and unite her friends, her enemies, and her own powers. If she doesn’t, she won’t get to change the world. She’ll have to say goodbye to it -- forever.

Gasp?!
BABY DUSKY?!?!?!
Also I LOVE THE BOOK but some people say it’s too sad— NOT TRUE! I LOVE the sad endings of stories (Wings of Fire, Sonic The Hedgehog, Warriors, etc) bcuz they give out happiness and new beginnings; and to me, that is the best part of all.
Fourth arc?!?! GIMMEGIMMEGIMME!!!!
Everyone, hold your horses!
Tui has confirmed plans for a fourth arc!
Pikachu Cinderace quit being homophobic
Jupiter it’s been confirmed by Tui herself in an AMA! She also (reportedly, by Bellasaurus) said that she plans on making it about the next generation of dragons. (e.g. Bumblebee, Cliff, Peacemaker, Auklet)
And the show got canceled, but there’s still plans to get it picked up elsewhere!
Onto the actual review.
[MAJOR SPOILERS AHEAD!]
This book made me cry. I made it through the abuse the Dragonets of Destiny had to endure. I made it through when Peril was used and then banished from her own tribe. I made it through Winter’s toxic family relationships. I made it through Clearsight betraying the love of her life for the good of Pyrrhia. But this. This is what finally broke me. Dusky and Freedom, especially. Dusky having lost both of his parents, only to be put into child labor? Freedom, who was stolen from her mother, and died shortly after to the hands of an evil human? Who then had to stay in a cave with said human for five thousand years, forced to help fulfill his plan for world domination? The finale itself was exceptional. When Freedom sacrificed herself, I was reduced to tears. Although many aren’t happy about this book, I feel like it’s a more than perfect finale for this arc.
With love,
