Great story
I loved all three novels. The story is gripping and well written. I just wish I knew more about Sweden to recognise all the places.
It's just ok
I really want to like this 3 book series, but unfortunately the writing really starts to wear thin. Overly detailed to the point of boredom and so long winded that it becomes painfully obvious that there isn't much going on in the story. The repetition of details and recap of 'the story so far' by each and every single character becomes tedious. I found myself finishing the books by simply skimming paragraph after paragraph. And yet, I still understood every detail of the overall storyline.
Bottom line - these stories could have been condensed by several chapters per book.
Recommended, but just barely.
Good read
Great time reading the final chapter in this series. I loved that it tied up all loose ends, as I wasn't a huge fan of the second novel but this one totally made up for it. I sat in bed for awhile filled with suspense. Good overall read but you have to read the first two to understand the complete story line.
