I always get the math wrong.
Is the third time the charm?
Because I can think of three good reasons not to let Nick Sullivan back into my life.
First, I got over my infatuation with him—cold turkey. So what did he have to offer anyway? Mystery? Adventure? A sexy grin and a killer sense of humor? All of the above, if I think about it. Which I don't. Ever.
Second, he had the nerve to come back! After fifteen years, he shows up looking (better than ever) for a place to hide, with a story about being framed for murder. Only problem is, there's no corpse. As if I'd fall for that old line…
Third, I'm now old enough to know better—and smart enough not to be seduced all over again by the warmth in his eyes. I should give him the boot. But is it murder. And he does need a place to stay. This time it's strictly business. Nothing personal. Just harboring a fugitive. For old times' sake. And just maybe to satisfy my own craving for a little adventure…
So what does that add up to?
Third Time Lucky.

Third Time Lucky
Philippa Coxwell, against the wishes of her family and against all the odds of failure, opened her own garden landscaping business. On the very night when she and her partner were celebrating the business moving into the black, a blast from the past appeared on her front porch in the person of Nicholas Sullivan. He was the town “bad boy” who had stolen her heart and encouraged her to follow her dream 15 years before. The twists and turns of the plot from that point on kept me glued to the story – to see where these increasingly fascinating characters were going to end up. The dialogue was fun, fresh and quirky. “You have got to be the most irritating man I’ve ever known, and I have three brothers to offer serious competition for that honor.” This is the first book I have read from this author – but it certainly won’t be the last! I can’t wait to see what happens to the Coxwell family next.

Third Time Lucky
The book started off kind of rocky for me but once I got into it I was hooked! Phil is an adorable and quirky character while her counterpart Nick is the clueless hunk. A funny and lovable cast of characters add to the fray making this a must read. *Copy gifted by the Publisher in exchange for an honest review.
Loved it. I think it's the best of the series. Loads of laughter.
