Publisher Description
Jane Ladling presents the perfect fail-proof recipe to spice up the holidays. Or ruin them. Baker’s choice!
Mix a murderous cat with a goofy corgi. (Ignore any hissing. That definitely probably means the two ingredients are blending amazingly well.) Then add a landlocked cemetery allegedly peppered with gold-stuffed coffins. Whisk in a gravekeeper convinced a family curse forever dooms her to lose any man she loves. Marinate with a ridiculously charming special agent whose muscles and lopsided smile make her forget said curse. Toss in a pinch of mystery courtesy of an old, coded treasure map and crank up the heat. Broil, baby!
If no one dies, serve with a smile. If they do, smile wider.
And maybe, just maybe, Jane can solve a series of bewildering clues, end the curse for good, and finally find her own happily ever after. Or not.

An absolute must read!
I’m in love with this novella so much! I’m already on my second re-read because it just gave me all the warm fuzzy feelings and I’m not quite ready to let that go just yet. It was the cutest, warmest, most lovable fun read I have read in a while, props to our queens Gena and Jill!
If you’ve loved the first three books in the Jane Ladling series then you will love this Christmas Novella. We get more of that one on one time with Jane and Conrad (swoon) and a family mystery to solve! Of course Team truth is there for the ride and we even get a point of view from Rolex (which was freaking hilarious and cute lol) what’s not to love about our favorite “sweet” cat? Also, we get to learn more about Jane’s Family history and traditions and it was nice to see her share them with her team truth family. The Christmas scene where they light the candles and tea lights was so special and beautiful, it brought tears to my eyes.
While we did solve one part of the family mystery there is still more to learn about the family gold so I hope we get more of that too, it will be fun to see how well Conrad and Jane can keep working together now that they are officially a couple! Woot! And I have to say, it takes a special special man to appreciate all of what Jane encompasses. She is quirky, loyal, honest, an amazing friend, so lovable and is a ride or die kind of gal who will be there for you through thick and thin. And man, Conrad complements her so well, he is so patient and sees her for who she is and just let’s her shine. Their love story is so beautifully written, I can’t say it enough how much I adore it.
Don’t sleep on this series!!
