Good read, surprising plot twists. World building was good, but confusing at times. A little forced with the diction. Looking forward to the storyline in the sequel.
Good world … slow book
This book was hard for me because I really wanted to like it. It has an interesting world but the story is SLOW. It didn’t get interesting and pick up pace until 80% through. The main character is annoying to me but that may have been because there was no real movement in the story and for most of it she’s just reacting. It has potential but I don’t know if I can read future books if they are as slow as this one.
So hard to read the first chapters. But worth it in the end
I put this down a dozen times. I only kept reading because I had bought it. Slowly it got better and I became more interested in the story. I hope the other books start better.
