Childhood sweethearts second chance
Piper Rayne have once again produced a brilliant story.
A new series, a new small town and a new set of awesome characters you’ll want to get to know.
An easy to read, well-paced story about Gillian and Ben, high school sweethearts, whose forever was interrupted by life and now have a bumpy second chance (if he can convince her to take it).
The whole cast of characters wriggled their way into my heart, I can’t wait for future stories to see who finds love with who.
I recommend reading the prequel, One Last Summer to get the full town and family vibe.
This is sweet, realistic, romantic and steamy. There’s some secrets, some drama, a whole bucket load of emotion, brilliant banter and loads of chemistry. Once I started I couldn’t stop until the very last page with a huge smile on my lips.

Hit the right spot!
The One I left Behind is the first book in a new series by the authors and its off to a roaring start with Gillian and Bens story. I wholeheartedly love small town, second chance romances and this certainly hit the right spot in that regard! Ben has returned to his home town and family but seeing Gillian again causes certain feelings. Ben is swoonworthy, persistent and caring. I admired Gillian for her strength and the way she tries to resist Ben. However, can Gillian forgive him especially since she has been through alot. Their sizzling chemistry is undeniable. Will Ben get his second chance? Is he back for good? One way to find out is to read it for yourself. I cannot wait for more of this new series to come!
