Austen’s heroine Elizabeth Bennet deals with the issues of manners, upbringing, morality, education, and marriage in the society of the landed gentry of early 19th-century England. Austen at her wittiest.

Pride and Prejudice
Unfortunately this reading is americanised and jars particularly on words such as leisure. Overall the performance is ok but lots of opportunities for characterisation are missed. Disappointing.
Excellent reading and thoroughly enjoyable.
