Mouthwatering
It took me many years to appreciate peppers, and as soon as I gave into my partner’s pestering me to try an oven-roasted red pepper soup I was sold! I have been experimenting with peppers ever since, so this book was a valuable addition to my collection. I was particularly impressed with the peppers in red pesto and am looking forward to working my way through the rest. The detailed introduction at the beginning of the book is especially helpful.
An absolute bargain
Great value for money in every sense. It’s not often you’ll find such a well designed, wonderfully illustrated, comprehensive and varied collection of recipes of this quality for under ten pounds. I was so pleased with it I’ve been buying it for friends as gifts! I’ll be looking out for more from the Cooking with Passion series. A great concept at an amazing price.
So simple you won’t believe it
I am a big fan of no-nonsense, casual recipes- spending hours shopping and slaving away over a hot stove is not for me! That’s why I love it when books like Thea Spierings’ Pepper come along- low-key, elegant and nutritious recipes which are so simple they almost can’t go wrong. The red pepper soup has now become my default recipe for this dish. Very pleased with this purchase.
