Total Control is a breathtaking thrill-ride on a roller-coaster of non-stop action and suspense from David Baldacci, one of the world's favourite storytellers.
Jason Archer is a young executive at a world-leading technology conglomerate. Determined to give his wife and daughter the best of everything, he has entered into a deadly game of cat and mouse.
The grieving Sidney soon learns the job interview Jason was flying to never existed. In the wake of his disappearance, she must sort out Jason’s truths lies from his lies.
Race for the truth.
A suspicious air-crash investigation team, a tenacious veteran FBI agent and the dangling threads of a sinister plot lead all involved to beg the question: what really happened to Jason Archer?
Sidney’s investigation plunges her into a conspiracy of violence as she’s faced with a trail of dead bodies and shocking, exposed secrets.
FYI: The film version of Absolute Power, starring Clint Eastwood, will be released in February 1997.
One of my favourite authors, thoroughly enjoyed this book. Would have given an extra star but there were a few grammatical errors
2 enthusiastic thumbs up!!!
2 enthusiastic thumbs up!!! Great story telling!
The parts about the FED are extremely shocking though!
Total Control is hands down the book that will get any conspiracy or crime lover back into reading mode. The plot twists and leads are subtly embedded and create a genuine sense of achievement as you take the ride. Forget he generic Camel Club and Baldacci money earner books, this is as good as Absolute Power and a sat abov the Winner. I genuinely wish Baldacci would get back to this interlaced genius.
