So this may be weird but...
I LOVE Kory and all of her work. I’ve NEVER done this before but I sent her a quick email to express my gratitude. Hope there’s no creep factor in that! So I thought I’d also leave it as a review. It doesn’t give any detail about how good the book is but by this point I’m willing to bet your stuck and need to keep going and hear all of Lou’s endeavors.
I don’t think I’ve ever sent a letter/msg/email (you get it lol) to someone famous. However I wanted you to know how much I thoroughly enjoy reading your work! I loved the Dying For A Living series. I stumbled on this little treasure via Bookbub and I’ve been hooked since the 1st book.
I suppose it hits home bc I understand Lou-Blus pain. I just lost my dad. Although it wasn’t nearly under the nefarious circumstances as Lou, pain and grief are all intertwined and have the same result. And like most little girls-my Dad was my hero.
I’ve been leaving reviews bc I believe that’s the best thing I can do. So I just wanted to thank you! You’ve kept me entertained and reminiscent of that bond between father/daughter. And also as to why I wake up every morning to try and keep my Dad from shaking his head at me from heaven lol. I hope to see one of these stories on the big screen some day. That would be amazing.
Lastly I’m so sorry to hear of your loss. I read you lost your beloved Pug. I have a baby myself and send all my condolences.

Incredible series. Original and action packed. Characters with amazing depth. This is a great addition. Keep them coming. I read this one through nonstop.
