Anita Blake has been asked to raise the dead-but the results aren't going to make everybody happy...
Since the recent Anita Blake books have been more sexually geared, I found this one refreshing. Less focus on sex with multiple people and abjuring more suspense.
I am a huge fan of laurell both with the Anita Blake and Meredith Gentry series. I was not aware this was such a short book and even thought my ebook did not download correctly. It still falls in line with her other novels but I can't help feeling robbed. I wanted a lot more.
Not up to the standards of previous books in series
This book reads and feels like the author phoned it in. It is barely long enough to be considered a book. The majority of it seemed to be cut and pasted from previous works. Not what I am used to from LKH. I feel ripped off.
