Oh, and did we mention that her emotionally manipulative ex is chief of surgery? When Dr. Montgomery gets into a fender bender, she meets Daniel Grant, an incredibly sexy carpenter and B&B owner who’s nearly a decade her junior. Jimenez makes both her main characters flawed and relatable and introduces real complications into their courtship.
