Publisher Description
The graphic novel adaptations of the #1 New York Times bestselling Wings of Fire series continue to set the world on fire!
For every villain, there is a hero ...
Turtle isn't one of the heroes he reads about in stories. If he were, he'd use his animus powers to help Pyrrhia -- instead of keeping his abilities a secret, even from his own sister. Now that Darkstalker, the sinister and impossibly old dragon from Pyrrhia's most notorious legends, has returned, Turtle knows his own role is simple: hide. And stay hidden.
The more he watches Darkstalker from the shadows, the more Turtle knows that someone needs to stop the powerful dragon. A real hero. But Turtle is running out of time to find one, which means ... he might have to try to save the day himself.
The #1 New York Times bestselling Wings of Fire series soars to new heights in the ninth graphic novel adaptation, with art by Mike Holmes.

WOW!
So good but I don’t know why
Cool pictures! <3
Introducing a couple new dragons and a new island :)
Gemwings: while they are lacking in wings they make up for treasure and fashion, they are very shiny and good swimmers
Sliverwings: loner dragons who at first glance look like icewings but their eyes are many warm colors and their wings are huge! Shiny and can shoot spikes out of their tail
Featherwings: dragons if they were birds, featherwings are a very social tribe and are known for their trade and economy. Featherwings live in under the mountains in a place of tropics and oasis. Named after birds.
Treasurewings: these dragons live with the gem wings and love hoarding treasure and rare things, unlike the gemwings treasurewings have wings although they are only strong enough to glide. Some scales are metallic.
Lovewings: pink slim dragons who live in small colonies, lovewings are very kind and leave cavecrawlers alone despite being a carnivore. Usually lovewings are very creative and don’t have anyone under or above anyone else.
All of these tribes are located on a continent called piccata(idk how to spell it) which is very far from plantla and even farther from pirira.
Peace out ✌️

Oh. My. God
I love it, but it’s frustrating! I love the story, but hate how at the end and the Epilogue were so sad, and the Epilogue doesn’t make any sense. Like how the Icewing Queen is dead/ill, how Albatross is haunting dragons, mostly Seawings, and could be alive, or cast a spell to haunt them all while dead, and how there are cloaked Sandwings with Bird emblems on the cloaks. Now I started reading the graphic novels before the novels, so I’m confused. And I don’t know why but I never really have the motivation to read the novels, and I’m only on book 3! Can someone please give me advice to help me get the motivation to read these novels please! Edit: Thanks Imautistichunk, I broke my wrist so I have more reading time and apparently the ghost was Albatross, a spell for vengeance by Darkstalker, the Sandwings are followers of Qibli’s Grandfather, and the Queen of the Icewing dying (and others) is a seceret until book 10. I finished it today tho so yay. I can’t get book 11 till tomorrow tho because the librarian wasn’t here today TT. But anyways thanks!
