I lost my job, lost my fiancé, and started a bar fight. That’s how I met Donovan Ryan. Don’t worry. I gave another guy a bloody nose, not Donovan.
Donovan is way too handsome for my own good, certainly for my peace of mind. He’s also one of those save-the-day hotshot firefighters. You know the type. Strong, protective, dangerously hot.
Now isn’t the time for me to fall for anyone. I won’t. I definitely won’t.
Jasmine Phillips has a solid right hook. She’s also crazy beautiful with a fiery temper. I can think of quite a few things I might enjoy about fiery.
But Jasmine’s off limits, and I don’t do love. Then, she kisses me and sets me on fire. There’s lust, there’s love, and then there’s this.
Jasmine makes me question everything. She makes me want to move mountains. I would—for her. Only her.
*This is a full-length, standalone romance with a guaranteed HEA.
The sparks between them were SIZZLING!
This is book 7 in the Into the Fire series and it features Donovan and Jasmine. Jasmine is a very fickle woman . At least until she met Donovan. The sparks arcing between them were beautiful! There was no denying the attraction between them. Even though this was a romance between these two and they ended up with their own issues, the conflict in the story was shared between her and Levi.
The romance was beautifully written as well as the sibling issues. Great story line! I love seeing some of the other characters from previous books and how well they’re doing. I’m in love with the little town of Willow Brook, Alaska and it’s occupants. I ALWAYS look forward to reading more from this very talented author!
Play with fire
Liked the book but like the others in this series the ending is rushed and we miss the proposal and wedding
Play With Fire
A wonderfully written hot shot firefighter and a sassy pottery maker. Both characters were betrayed by someone they loved. The story takes place in Willow Brook, Alaska. Donovan and Jasmine have set your soul on fire chemistry that scorches the pages. J.H. Croix pulls us in from the first page to the very last and gives us an amazing storyline and fantastic characters. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
