Best series I’ve ever read
Found Origins free (like any good addition, the first is always free) in my Nook in 2011. Been hooked since. The stories he tells with these characters, I am in love with some and would fight others to the death. The tech in these books is out of this world. I tell everyone I talk to about them, have gotten several hooked as well. I’ve loved these books since the first paragraph.
Love These
As long as he keeps writing them, I’ll keep buying them! Twisty turny space epics that just keep going like this are a little bit difficult to find, and some of my absolute favorite things to read.
Keeps getting better...
Lalonde’s Spinward Fringe series is one of my favorite in science fiction and this latest book is a perfect example of why. Such a great mix of old characters you love and new characters who you’re not quite sure whose side they’re on, thrown into a giant, detailed universe full of danger, mysteries, and challenges.
Like all great sci-fi, this book continues to explore important topics like morality, xenophobia, racism, and even democracy, education and commerce, but against the backdrop of a really killer adventure story. I mean, who doesn’t like a good arms dealing revolution building space pirate story?
I can’t recommend this series enough, and love how much the story has evolved from Broadcast 0: Origins (where you should begin reading BTW). I can’t wait for the next book to see what happens next, and I love supporting such a great independent author.
