Expendable Few Dissappointing

I have read all the Spinward Fringe offerings to date. I have enjoyed them so much that I had to at one point forced myself not to download the next installment so that I could finish a project rather than getting drawn into the story and spend hours reading. Needless to say, I have looked forward to Expendable Few with great anticipation and saved it for a business trip. I sincerely hope that this is not the direction that future installments of the main story will take. The story was more convoluted and I felt little connection to the characters. The author used many more expletives in his writing this go around which may be a popular thing to do these days but is a substitute for more thoughtful writing. Hopefully the hours I invested in Expendable Few will be useful when the the next episode of Spinward Fringe comes out.

I have faithfully read all of the "Freeground" books and found this one to be my least favorite. Now everybody is gay? I had to stop reading. I was in high anticipation for arrival of book 7 and now a lack of interest has ended my anticipation.
