They're not sure whether their connection is purely physical desire or love that could help heal the wounds in their pasts. Harte has created a rich world, populated by a couple with tangible chemistry and a supporting cast who help their relationship develop in unexpectedly charming ways. Despite moments of emotional maturity, the story as a whole isn't able to overcome the veterans' stereotypical hypermasculinity, keeping the final resolution from feeling as satisfying as it might be. Nonetheless, this is a strong series start that will have fans of mega-alphas eager for more.

Really good
I love the concept of this Movin' On series - a few family members who are veterans start up a moving company and only hire other veterans. And, what a cast of characters they make! They're tough, fun and loyal to their core. The banter and sarcasm that goes back in forth is laced with friendship and respect.
The romance part of the book is about Reid, one of the founding brothers of the newly formed company and Naomi, the head of a boutique PR company that is helping the Vets on the Go! get to the next level. These two stubborn, independent entrepreneurs have instant attraction that turns quickly into something deeper but, there some obstacles that they need to overcome. They both have issues that are emotional and painful plus they're scared which, leads to questions and misunderstandings.
The most emotional part of the story however, is how Reid and his brother Cash deal with their upbringing and the negligence of their parents. It is truly heartbreaking to see these big, brawny take charge men so at a loss when it comes to their mother. It makes you want to give them the hug and acceptance they crave. Now, I don't know if it is intentional that there isn't an answer as to why their parents didn't treat the brothers as they should but, it is a bit frustrating. Maybe it will be addressed in the next book.
I thoroughly enjoy Marie Harte's books and this is no exception. I recommend this book for it's positivity, family bonding and intense attraction that leads to a very satisfying happy ending.

This book ticked off a lot of boxes for me. I loved Reid. He's former military, started his own business to help his brother adjust to civilian life and he treated Naomi respectfully while still showing how dirty he could get. That's pretty hot!
Naomi is a very strong heroine that came close to being too much, but Reid seemed to bring her back before that every really happened. My only complaint would be is that I wish they had gotten together as a couple sooner. I wanted more of them as a couple because they were so cute together when they were just them.
Honestly, his relationship with his brother was just as much as attractive as his relationship with Naomi. I loved how much they cared and protected each other. One of the things I love about Marie Harte is she does such a good job with family in her books. The main couple are important but my overall enjoyment of a book increases so much when the side characters in the form of friends and family add to the love story for me.
The Whole Package had a great cast of side characters in Reid's brother and their employees within Vets on the Go. I loved all them to a point that I think it would be awesome if they each get their own book. I'm looking forward to more.
