Very enjoyable
Gorri has once again shared with us a timeless classic about love, family and unbreakable bonds that spans the ages of time. I truly enjoyed Mara and Bruno’s story. These chefs are tough I tell ya, getting into fights with these kitty’s with only plates and skillets to protect them 🤭😏. On a serious note though this book may have some triggers for some. There are some sensitive subjects touched upon briefly in this book in Bruno’s past. It’s not too bad but it’s there. But I love the realism that is found in a Gorri book ( no pun ) 🫣. The world building was really good and I was waiting for this book since Carter and Toni’s book when Bruno ate that gingerbread 🤭. This book was pretty straight forward and I enjoyed it very much. Check out the Island Stripe Pride and all of Gorri’s tigers! They’re all good! This grumpy bear gave this book and this series as a whole 5 radiant stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Mara is a bunny shifter that has had very poor outcomes with any male she has ever gotten into a relationship with. As a result, she has a very poor self-image and has decided to concentrate on her career. Who needs a man in their life – not her!
Bruno is a rare white Bengal tiger. Highly sought after because of their rare genetics, he is scared from a past horrifying experience. Abandoned by his father and raised by her grandmother, he hides his insecurities behind a big, tough enforcer act. And his womanizing ways – just a show!
Mara’s bunny recognizes Bruno as her mate as does Bruno’s tiger. Bruno is finally willing to take a chance and settle down, but Mara isn’t having any of it. She has publicly rejected him and runs and hides if she sees him coming.
Can these two ever put the past behind them and learnt to trust each other? Not without a lot of help!!.
