Twisted Justice. Diane Capri
This excellent read takes place in Tampa Florida, an extremely small town compared to Miami. Everyone knows everyones business. Gossip is second nature. General Randall Adams, a decorated 4 star general and a war hero has been nominated to the U.S. Supreme Court. He is evil pompous and vile man. His list of enemies. Is long, including his own family. He is found murdered in his boat. The person who actually murdered him planted Evidence against Federal Judge William Carson husband George who was arrested. The perfect setup. Enjoyed Immensely!! My highest recommendation!
Twisted Justice
This is my first read by this author. She obviously has read John Grisham and follows his beautiful style of writing. Though she's no Grisham, she can definitely spin a story.
I like her timeline at the beginning of each chapter. There's a little bit too much drivel in the middle of the book, but like John Grisham, she knows how to set the hook.
I'm not sure if I liked the main character or not. Many ambivalent feelings crossed my mind as I progressed in my reading.
She's definitely a control freak as well as a lousy detective. However, she had a very sensual side which was very attractive to this male reader.
