Publisher Description
The newest sizzling romance from Audrey Carlan, the #1 New York Times bestselling author of the Calendar Girl series.
When I was born, I was beloved by my parents. I felt their warmth from the tips of my toes to the untamable curls in my hair—until tragedy hit and I lost them both.
With no extended family, I ended up in Kerrighan House, a home for girls just like me—girls who’d lost everything. Mama Kerri took me in and treated me with nothing but love, as did the rest of my sisters of the soul. In that house, we formed a bond that could never be broken.
Now danger seems to follow all of us. But what danger could come to me: a petite, high-school Spanish teacher who’d never hurt a fly? The only one on my tail is Omar Alvarado, the bodyguard hired to protect me from the danger lurking around my sisters. The more I shun his advances though, the harder he tries to earn my favor. Omar seems to like my brand of sass and doesn’t hide the fact he wants me for his own.
I’m determined to not get caught up in his beautiful smile, the sexy suggestions he whispers in my ear, or that incredible body that would make any woman swoon with desire.
Even with the tension rising between us, all seemed to be kept in check—until I found myself in the middle of a high stakes bank robbery.
And the only one who could save me, was the one man I tried so desperately to push away.

Love Lily’s Wild Spirit!
Omar and Lily’s story was feisty, sexy, fierce, and full of love! I especially enjoyed Lily’s sass and strong will! I laughed out loud a few times with the back and forth banter not only between her and Omar but also with her sisters.
I appreciated the glimpses into Lily’s mindset going back to the events from books 1 and 2, Wild Child and Wild Beauty. This writing style greatly benefitted the love story, bringing the budding romance full bloom by providing the couple’s beginning alongside their current tragedy.
I would highly recommend this story and the entire Soul Sister series; Audrey Carlan never fails to impress with her genuine characters and storylines! I am desperately hoping to read more from this series in the future!
Can’t get enough of the Kerrighan sisters!
Can’t get enough of the Kerrighan sisters! I was hooked after reading the first two books, and I was interested to see how the author would continue the series since the first two books were very connected with their storylines. In the previous books, Omar was assigned as protection for Lily, and she fought him every step of the way because she was so attracted to him. When Lily finally decided to make her move on him, she sees him in a compromising situation and it causes her to run from Omar for months, until they both end up involved in a bank robbery and she is taken hostage and he gets shot. Using her survival tips that he instilled in her during the situations with his sisters, Lily attempts to escape multiple times, albeit unsuccessful, but when her family makes a plea for her return, her kidnappers work to release her. The story continues when after she is rescued, Lily finds out that the actual kidnappers escaped, and now her and her family become sitting ducks yet again. Deciding to actually give a relationship a go after her rescue, she stays with Omar as a way to protect her family, and also get to know him outside of being her protector. I loved every step of this story and couldn’t get enough, especially when trying to figure out who the kidnappers were and the reasoning behind the heist, as well as the capture of the actual kidnappers. I’m so sad that this author isn’t continuing this series – I hope that she will return to it in the future!
I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
Loved Liliana and Omar
This is the third installment in the Soul Sisters series but it can be read as a standalone. This is the story about Liliana Ramirez-Kerrighan, a high school Spanish teacher, and Omar Alavarado, her bodyguard who was hired to protect her from the crazies who have been after her sisters. Let’s just say that Omar takes his job of protecting Liliana’s body very seriously!!! I have read each of the stories in this series and have fallen in love with the Kerrighan family. This group of strong, loving, independent women that Mama Kerry raised will inspire you. Seeing their love and support for each other just gives you all the feels.
Wild Spirit starts off with Liliana and Omar being at the wrong place at the wrong time. What should have been a simple trip to the bank, turned into a bank robbery and kidnapping. This story kept me on the edge of my seat! Between wondering what would happen to Liliana, and then the passion between her and Omar, I just couldn’t put this book down! This book has it all! I really hope Audrey will continue writing about the Kerrighan sisters in some way. Even if it’s just a final book about the remaining sisters because I just love this family!
