Not enough Duncan!
Star rating 3.5. I was looking forward to reading Duncan’s story because he is one of my favorite characters in this series. The story was lacking for me. There were some exciting events, but not enough to keep me interested. I do agree with other reviewers that the relationship between Duncan and Emma was not believable. Lust definitely, but the all consuming love, no. At times Emma was one of those TSTL females. Drove me a little crazy. I did enjoy the look into Duncan’s past. However, this story seemed to be more about Emma. Definitely not enough about Duncan and his people for me. Too much dialogue in their heads and not enough interaction with others. Just expected more on Duncan. A little disappointed. The D.C. territory is definitely interesting. Miguel is my new favorite muscle. His lack of patience was funny. On to Lucas. He looks interesting.
